Suggestions on 1190 exhaust options?

Want something a bit louder and deeper sounding than the stock. I have the KTM panniers designed so it would have to accommodate this element (they weren't cheap).

Thanks for suggestions in advance.

Buy the akra. I've never heard anyone complain about an akra

Wot he said.........

The Akra is a KTM hard part so relatively easy to source and specifically designed for the bike. It burbles and pops on the overun and looks pretty good too.

Other makes will come along soon with their offerings and no doubt someone will in time offer an under the seat design. But if you want one now that does the job and fits with your panniers, the Akra is it.

Ordered the short Wings. Price is 519 euros incl shipping and should be here by the end og August :-)

Compared to the Akra it is a very good deal. Price is about 60 % of the Akra. It's also better looking. Hopefully it also sounds better :-)

The email I received from Gorazd had the cost at:

You will find the prices and the payment methods attached to this e-mail. The total sum would be 598,- 21,- postage= 619,- € via bank transfer or 644,- € via paypal ( I have to add 4% paypal fee ).
644 Euro is more than I want to pay as I could get a Akra for not much more.

Your price is probably including vat.

Good luck with that one as AFAIR, the Akra for the 1190 is 780. But maybe you have contacts.

My Wings, delivered (with a 25 bank transfer charge ) was 550. I've also listened to the Akra and it's pretty quiet. I guess I was expecting more, plus it still looks a bit lardy. The quality of the Wings is right up there and it also comes with a choice of baffles.

Here's the shorty beside the standard pipe.
I had a few mates over to help lift the standard pipe off

Hello.
Why did you decide to take standard one (instead short one)? Is it possible that too short exhaust muffler make some "bang" noise when you close the trotle?

Thanks.
