3rd Annual JVB Tech Day in VA!

It is time to start planning the 3rd Annual JVB Tech Day. It is open to ALL BIKES!

This year it will be April 26, 2014 at my home in Alexandria, VA.

As always food and drink (non-alcoholic) will be provided, hot coffee and bagels in the morning and lunch of burgers, dogs, chili and a few sides. All complimentary!

All you have to do is show up. Come with maintenance or farkle installation in mind, or just to hang out and watch. There will be several people available to lend a hand, tools, GS-911 for the BMW people, and space to work.

ALL bikes are welcome, and nearly any level of work to be accomplished. Last year we had 35 bikes, with plenty of room for more. I will have at least one lift, hopefully two, and space for lots of work to get done. Tire changes can also be done.

Check through the thread for a ton of great door prizes from www.beemerboneyard.com !

Oh yeah, I also have a new rear Tourance for a GS for a give-away to a lucky winner.

Also a set of my DVDs, given individually:

Bring your supplies, and we will put them to work!

PM me with your interest and I will give my address a week or so before the Tech Day.

I'm pretty sure we can figure it out. My Harmonizer is for two cylinders, so that will complicate it a bit!

Looks like fun, hope to be able to make it. Currently prepping 2 1100GS for a round the world trip this summer, Hopefully I'll have them ready by then, but who knows.

This is the tire set-up I will have at the tech day!

Changed a rear tire for an R1200GS Adventure, about my 400th tire.

Tested my new HF digital Torque Wrench. Dead on!

like the look of that digital torque wrench adapter. May just have to swing by my local HF and pick one up.

Great gathering and I hope to join again this year.

Hell I might even have a beemer by then!

Will you have DVD's available on-site?
