I had one, LOVED it, wish I didn't have to get rid of it. Does that count? My plan was to convert it it to a DP type bike ala the Paris Dakar version of the TDM. Show us yours.
And welcome. Enjoy yer visit.

I have a 1992 model that I still use as my primary ride. I have probably owned 25 motorcycles so far, ride a year or two and go on to another. I have owned this 8yrs and everytime I think about the newest and greatest I take it for a ride. I just can't let it go. 50,000+ miles and still in great condition.

My TDM is my primary ride ......... it's a 93 with 14k on it .... I'm out in Oregon, but would love to hook with other TDM owners. I can't really explain it ..... but I really love that bike more than my others I currently own. Here's a pic of her ................

I followed you and your TDM around up at the Indian grinding rock campout deal, pretty rainy but fun. That thing seems to work fine in the dirt. I'll see you out at Death Valley.

the engines are good, most burn a bit of oil tho
yammie reckon that 1litre per 1000 to 4000 miles is normal so make sure you keep it topped up International (mainly english speaking) TDM owners club at http://www.carpe-tdm.net lots of info inc guides, writeups, howtos etc etc etc |
