Got tire mounting accomplished today, wheels reinstalled at about 10pm. Leaving tomorrow at lunch... about a six hour tow to get there. I'll see you guys at the campfire.

Vizla and I will roll up in a little black Subaru wagon with a "Rally Tennessee" sticker on the door if anyone is looking for us.

Anders

What an awesome weekend. A big thank you to the organizers of GARTRA and everybody involved in making this a successful event . Following a couple of pictures ...

Some post ride repairs. He just picked up a "nail"

Now, THAT is a NAIL...

Here are some of our younger riders...

Hey Debandi, I like your bike...

...still, I like mine better

Great BBQ...

Sunday ride, unscheduled stop for a quick tube change...

Lunch break

I enjoyed meeting everybody and I had a great day, ...even though, my facial expression may not necessarily reflect that statment.

I had an awesome time!

Met great folks, ate good food, tented on flat ground, road big hills, was well-cushioned when I fell over...

I'll get some pictures up sometime.

And thanks to Vizsla for being the tent-king. And to DeBandi for noticing a loose foot peg. And to SuchesRider for daring me to keep up with her! I definitely learned something following her line!

Anders

Hey Anders, was that you I sat across from at the BBQ and talked Sandblast Rally with?

DeBandi - nice to meet you as well. That was some good pasta Friday night!

Sorry I did not get to meet SR and others. Was hoping to but those 6am calls to get the trail markers up didn't leave a lot of time for socializing.

Thanks to all who participated. I hope every one had fun and nobody got lost. If you did get lost then it was the OTHER layout crews fault.

Yup, that was me. :) All sorts of info about that event is here: http://sandblastrally.com/2009. (It's for this year, 2010 info isn't up yet.)

The "Bull Mountain Parking Lot" arrow is pointing at my head in this picture:

Cheers!
Anders

Lot's of fun. Really enjoyed meeting new people (T Rex and Anders).

Patty is clearly the most upbeat, friendly person on the planet. I hope you win the Vintage MX world championship... 8-)

Debandi and I had a blast chasing each other around on the single track sections. Man, you can ride that Husky.

I hope we can repeat next year.
