* Also... there was a blurb in the July or August '09 issue of Motorcyclist magazine ...Ohlins is supposedly creating cartridge inserts for the F800GS...which I'm pretty sure uses the same fork legs as the HP2...
Suspension is one area I've not played with yet - the wizard took care of it.
First time around - they lasted 19,000 miles of commuting, two up touring and plenty of abuse off-road. The original coating finally gave way which lead to the seal going on one of the legs. For 400 pounds - a local suspension specialist rebuilt them including stripping and recoating the legs, this time chrome rather than the original fancy coating. It doesn't look as cool and, for the experts, it will have a little more 'stiction' but I'm no expert and it will last a hell of a lot longer
