F800GS front sprocket siezed
just getting round to fittting the new chains and sprockets....
all going well, dremel through the old chain
rear wheel out
17mm bolt removed from front sprocket
how the hell do you get the old sprocket off, so far I have tried soaking the splines with plus-gas, and then moved onto a set of hub pullers- , not moving one little bit-
anyone had a similar issue? or a solution

I had the same problem. Got the bolt off and thought I would be able to just pull it off. No go. I noticed that I had a little surface corrosion under the washer and on the spline, so I soaked it pretty well with some Corrosion-X, and put it back together.
Two days later, I borrowed my friend's gear puller and loosened the rear wheel, took off the chain, and before messing with the gear puller I decided to just try and pull it off...... It came off pretty easily. Never used the gear puller.
When putting on the new sprocket, it seemed like it didn't fit right. It wouldn't just slip on. I got it lined up by eye and gave it a little tap (gingerly) with a hammer, and it went right on.
