Lock-picking a 950?

Helping out on a 950 with a lost key...

The ignition is easy enough to bypass if the steering isn't locked, but the fuel tanks & seat lock seem a bit more challenging.
  • How hard is it to pick/pop the locking fuel caps on an Adventure? Anybody ever successfully do this themselves or have a locksmith do it?
  • Does anybody know if there is an Ilco blank for the KTM's? I read somewhere KTM's use ILCO X270 and JMA ZD24RDP blanks, but don't know if that is accurate for the 950's.
  • Has anybody, once the lock is picked/popped, re-keyied a KTM cylinder?
  • If necessary, best way to brute-force open a gas cap? Drill out the cylinder?

Thanks!
