If you two ever make it to west MI, the jerk smoked ribs, mango-mint slaw and tostones are on me (Oh yeah, the beers too!)

I think it is appropriate that my first post on this site is to you. After reading your ride reports I was inspired to ride the tat myself. So here I am at the Days Inn Jelico Tn ready to start my tat adventure tommorrow. Many thanks. You and LDF be safe and have fun I look forward to your continued report

Doc and LDF....thru your ride reports I feel like I know you. You have been helpful with questions regarding equipment and always responsive to PM's. Thus I found myself "tracking your day" yesterday as you finished at the hospital...headed for the airport and subsequent arrival in NV. This is crazy! It is amazing how captivating the "Mobius Rides" have become....like a great novel you just can't lay down. Thanks for all the work you have put into these reports....have a great vacation...and God Speed!

After early and delayed flights Doctor Rock and LDF have arrived in Reno, NV (approx 9:30 pm PDT).

I will be heading over to the Grand Sierra Resort (near the Airport) to meet up with them and Mike Derby, another fellow Dust Devil. Remember all you adventure riders out there, the Reno Dust Devils MC (Dual Sport) is putting on their annual Ride Reno 200 on Oct 3 & 4, 2009. Entry info can be found at:

great day riding -- thanks to dean & mike for shepharding us onto a primo route. much better than I had on my own. and thanks to your families for giving you up for a saturday to play with us.we made it to quincy and decided to call it a day. hot, DUSTY, & tired, but happy.thanks again guys,d&fps: the greagle-mccrae-johnston-pilot peak- section (that we couldn't do last May on acounta snow) was awesome.

I and fellow Reno Dust Devil'er meet up with Francine and David Roccaforte (LDF and Doc Rock) in Reno on September 12th. I photographed their prep'ng the bikes at the storage facility and final packing at the Grand Sierra Resort. We then headed for Cabela's for some final items and over Verdi Ride to Dog Valley. Then via some local trails to Yuba Pass, CA. In all I rode with LDF and David for approximetly 80 Miles. My return trip to Reno (42 miles overland) involved running thru a thunder storm and 15 minute down pour. But, by the time I got back home in Reno I was dry. Hope LDF sends info about her experience with identifying Bear Scat and some of the things she experienced. Enjoy the photo's. Reno Deano
