I wish we did the same when we rode from Thunder Bay ON to Maine via snowmobiles. THAT was a GREAT ride. Oh the memories.

Great read and pics. LOVE the ADVenture, THANKS.
Met some hunting guides up there who were raving about the snowmobiling. The caribou herd is about 200 000 strong this year they were saying. You can sled right into the herd which spooks them and causes a stampede. They were saying its the coolest and most dangerous riding ever. Standing up in a huge herd of stampeding animals with snow flying. They painted a cool picture and I will say I am tempted to go and check it out this Decemeber. Oh ya you need a mountain sled as they dont groom and the snow is deep.
