Would you swap BMW crash bars for Givi's or Holan's?

So my new F800GS came with the BMW engine crash guards. I like the way they look, but I'm not convinced they'd provide that much protection. I'm particularly concerned that they'd be no help at all in protecting the plastic faux gas tank, even in a low/no speed careless drop.

Therefore, I've been looking at other options and feel that the Givi and Holan Pro offer the best combination of protection and looks. The Givi stick out so far they'd almost certainly protect the plastic and the Holan provide some protection to the plastic and radiator.

Here's where I need help...would I be gaining much by switching to the other models? Would they provide significantly more protection? And if so, which would you get?

Here's pics of what I have, the Givi and the Holan Pro.

I would go with the Touratech's i have them on my bike and have crashed off road with them about 6 times so far with no damage to the bike at all. They protect a bit farther up then the BMW's
