Ride With My Kids/Future Adventure Bike Riders
Well I have four kids who are motorbike nuts. Like there dad
,,, must be in the Genes...I tell you there is nothing quite like going out riding with your kids Anyway we had not been out for a ride for a while. Today was also the day the little ones upgrade from 50cc to 70 cc. I have three boys aged 9,14,15 and a girl aged 10. Ok I know they are only cheap chinese bikes however there interest in riding is so high I am thinking of taking the big step and getting them some real bikes next year. Anyway onto the pics of four of the worlds future Adventure Bike Riders riding in the great Australian Bush,, hope you enjoy. Trailer and 4wd all loaded ready for departure. This trailer was custom built for me by my neighbour. It holds six bikes, two small bikes sideways, four full sized bikes two forward two backwards. It has a mesh floor, steel stowable ramp that clips on at each bike track, a large lockable tool box and a front mounted spare tyre. ![]() Arrival at our secret location ![]() The chaos begins,, my daughter fell off twice broke two brake levers in half an hour, then there was no stopping her.. Made me real proud. ![]() ![]() The change in my youngest son who was so hesitant on the 50cc bike was remarkable. Took to the bike like a duck to water ![]() You would not beleive how hard it was to convince her to give her dad the finger, when she finally did she was in hysterics.... ![]() ![]() ![]() Feet Barely touching the ground... ![]() No Stopping her now,,, Can kick start her own bike now too ![]() ![]() ![]() Funnily enough there was no problem in getting the boys to give there dad the finger ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Ok back to riding ![]() Older boys have watched Shane Watts DVD,,, following all the tips Satnding up... ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Up and down the mound ![]() ![]() Can just see them in the distance ![]() ![]() Follow the leader ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Such a good variety of terrain here ![]() ![]() ![]() This palce has everything so good for them to learn, sand, rocky trail, open trail, single trail, rough trail, smooth hills and so on,,, alas it has not rained for a while so the mud puddle was dry ![]() Kick Starting her own bike, a real acheivement... ![]() If I tweak this bit will it go faster ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Farewell from us,,, thanks Dad for the awesome day ![]() Salute !!!!!

Nice! Looks like you had a great time with the kids. You will have to get them all FYYFF stickers for their bikes. You can tell them it stands for "Father Yancey's Youth Football Foundation".

Brilliant
They will never forget days like that. But trust me, now you've started, it's never going to stop. I'm still helping my youngest play with toys, and he's 30.

Its great to have the same interests as the kids. Mine are hot and cold on the bikes. I will have to beg them to come for a ride with their dad today. Great looking trailer. Might have to steal the desigh as I want 1 that will hold 5 so we can take them over to the coast for long weekends (just had some friends move over there from home.

No problems can take some close up pics of the trailer if you like... Width of the trailer restricts the sideways mounted bikes to the small ones. All the tracks are bolted on so later can move them arround as required. The tracks are made from Galvinised channel. Originally I got all the bikes together on the garage floor an chalked it out to work out the rough dimensions and positioning. My neighbour is a wizz with a welder, took us about 6 weeks to construct. Each joint is fully welded all arround no tack welds, Taillights came from a tray back ute. He kept on coming up with some great ideas as we built it. Floor was originally going to be sheet metal but then decided it would be better to use mesh (not slippery when wet)
