Or, more importantly if you're an AMA member:

How much did DMG purchase it for?

Nobody seems to know or will comment on that.

The only thing I have heard publicly is an interview with Rob Dingbat a month or two ago where he stated it was a multi-million dollar deal over several years.

I need to place a call the the HQ to see what is going on. I'm sure I'll get stonewalled, but at least it will let them know the natives are restless.

I think this is just RE's revenge on the AMA (and us) for stealing the CCS.

Infineon just released their schedule for 2010, and it features the following event:

"AMA Motorcycle Sonoma Showdown
May 14-16"

Now, it doesn't say what kind of motorcycles will be taking part in the showdown, so they can always turn it into a flat track meet, right?

Maybe the "showdown" is Dingman and Roger E. jousting it out on XR100's?

Or it might be like the "Anchorman" movie where the mfgrs., AMA, DMG and other interested parties square off in a good, old fashioned rumble.

What a pathetic bunch of amateurs....... The most significant entertainment value of the series at this point is watching the management make fools of themselves.

If there is anyone (RE and your buds) listening out there and wondering if they have fans, I have an idea... Read the 39 pages of crap and see how much is good PR or happy fans from the series!

From OnTheThrottle:

Spy footage reveals a new proposed AMA/DMG race class with a new rules package that states if a rider would like to pass, he must be waved by with the "biker wave".

That analysis is totally wrong.

That clip obviously shows the new pace bike
