Promoto Billet Fastways. I had to finesse the bark busters on both my SM61 and my KLR, but these really didn't fit for shit. I was about to send them back when I read the instructions which said they may have to be bent into shape for any particular motorcycle. A half hour with a 2ft pipe and a bench vice and they fit absolutely perfectly now. I really like the bar clamp solution to the inboard mounts. It came with nylon washers for the mounts that you can see in the picture, though. I think removing them will let the end mount more solidly. Anybody have any thoughts on the reasons for the nylon washers and why it might be a good idea to leave them on? |

Bonz bar clamps are your other option - will work with just about any handguard (cycras pictured here) ![]() (the brake lines are 'long' in this pic because they were in preparation for the 265mm S suspension - but here still with the original 210mm suspension) If you flip the throttle cables over, keep in mind your drain-hole is now pointing at the sky. (worse than that, any crap is going to drain down your cables, if anywhere). I had planned a proper fix for this when I flipped mine over... but mine still has a snippet of insulation tape that put there over a year ago ![]() |
