Colorado Jetting Questions for a Beta Rev3

Hey All,

I just picked up a 2006 Beta Rev3 270 and I had a question about jetting here in Colorado. Most riding will be in Denver and up.

I did the carb float mod that has been talked about. It has a 150 main and 30 pilot which is stock.

I talked to C&G who import the Beta's and they said to go with a 140 main, 25 pilot, and the needle in the middle (Stock). Does this sound right? I've jetted 2-strokes before but this is my first Trials experience and I don't want to mess it up. Wouldn't the needle need to be leaned out a little too?

They also recommended 70:1 with 91 octane and a good Synthetic 2-Stroke Oil.

Thanks in advance!
