Don't worry about finishing at first. Ride one section/lap/checkpoint at a time and take confidence from completing each one. You string enough of those small victories together and you'll have a completed and fun race.

Probably cause your smart enough to know thats the best time to go
why go out when there's 100's of other campers
bring plenty of firewood, beer , hot women and warm clothes, and have the place all to yourself

last time I went me and some other guys almost got into a fistfight with two RV groups next to us lighting off potato cannons in the middle of the night with little kids around (in their OWN CAMP)

Ill never in my life understand RV culture. Just stay home

Pasta boy is probably having a hard time getting out of bed this morning. He raced, finished and got 3rd in his class in his first race He said he was second to the bomb on his start!

just for the hell of it I did a pre-race kinda interview thing and cut it to music if anyone was interested in seeing it. I kinda did it more for myself than anything but I can post it if anyone wants to watch it.

I am sore in places I didnt even knew I had.... ug.

Good fun though - got a great start..... I should have - I was on the only 650 I saw in the beginner line.

anyways, I placed 3rd in class and overall 320th ( out of 334 )

Not bad! Im really happy that I finished, that was my big goal but to finished 3rd in class even amongst the beginners is awesome.

It was my pleasure dood. The 104th OA is among the one loopers. That is not totally acurate because there are one loopers from all the rows that started ahead of you in the mix as well.

Looks like you were 17th overall on the beginner row. How many bikes did it look like were on your start?
