"Arriving storos" and "wutt" for breakfast (it sounds like the start of that Abbott and Costello bit "who's on first...." but this is "What's for breakfast?..Wutt... That's what I want to know Whats for breakfast... Wutt. " and so on

But I would like to know what arriving storos is, and what is wutt, and that other breakfast food that I have forgotten...?

By the way, nice report from a part of the world that I will pikely never see firsthand, so thank you for bringing to to me. Much better than National Geographic.

This may clear up some of the confusion as to what we were eating. Best food in the world. You should try it if you have the chance. As far as "arriving storos", I'll let either Caleb or Tim answer tha one.

Glad you liked the report, btw.

Arriving storos is basically one of many slang words/terms we used at boarding school in Kenya (Rift Valley Academy). Over the years at the school a language has developed with all sorts of stupid terms and words...it is a peculiar mix of English, Swahili, Kikuyu and the many other languages that have been represented at RVA over the years. Arriving storo with someone basically means you are in deep discussion about a certain topic with them. Whenever Tim and I get together we use all these RVA terms in our conversation for old times sake and a good laugh.

FANTASTIC ride report guys. Well done. Next time north through Axum, okay? I want to see your bikes parked in front of the obelisks and by the church of the arc of the covenant!

....true ambassadors for Ethiopian adventures.....

Great RR. After reading the wiki you linked to, I now crave a real session in a genuine Ethiopian buna bets. I am a coffee snob, and the wiki description sounds like the real deal!

Thanks for sharing these visions guys. Nice report Caleb.
