Airhead Handle BAr intel please

OK...
First Off! I think I want to say that Flanders is an Asshat company! Not 100% sure yet, but expecting it!

Here's what I'm after: I have an R90/6. It currently has the Euro Low bar...
While it's not totally terrible, it is a little hard on the wrists after a days ride. I live in the CO countryside, I by necessity hit dirt once and a while.

1) Does the R80GS bar fit the R90? or perhaps the 100GS?
2) I know I shouldn't put that kind of bar on a "nice classic bike"...Blah Blah!
3) Flanders sent me an R90S bar that was advertised at H 3.25 in. It arrived and is H 2 3/4 in...Ok only 1/2 an inch, but its the hight and width I'm looking to change...This bar is also 1 in narrower than the current. Flanders states they have a 20% restocking fee! Wow! Thats basically $20 bucks on a $90 bar!

So Advice please!

I don't understand why Flanders bars are so popular when the prices are HIGHER than O.E.M. German made Magura bars that are available San Jose BMW for $74.95.
They have the R90S bar and the US spec bar in stock right now.
If you mention that you saw this posting and they will only charge $69.95.

I hear ya.

Also check out DomiRacer.com

They have 22mm bars. Do not get talked into the 7/8th bars. Some people will say they are the same size but they will not work on your bike.

They even have a set for $30.

good luck

I have Flanders bars but I ordered them from Bob's BMW and was told that they were cheaper and just as good. Got some bad and potentially dangerous intel from them later on so it doesn't surprise me if that wasn't accurate.

Yes, I've used those before, a good deal for the tall U.S. bars at $30.00
if you don't mind how thin the tubing is. The $30.00 price is only on the the US bar though. The other 2 are around $70.00 or so.
I have a set of the Domiracer U.S. bars on my R1100RT (GS triple clamp) and they flex like a mo-fo.
Given the choice between flimsy Asian made and robust German OEM at the same price, I'll take the Magura, thanks!
I'll be switching these out to Magura soon, the flexing makes me nervous. I keep having recurring thoughts of snapping a handlebar, Yikes!
Unlikely I know, but it's not a pretty picture.
