Lot's of great roads north and west of atlanta. You planning the whole trip on bike, or just the three free days?

Go towards Suches, pick up 180 to Hwy 17 South, to Hwy 356 east, to hwy 197 north, to Burton Dam Rd., to Bridge Creek Rd. , Take a left on Old Hwy 441, right on Savannah St., left onto 23/441, right onto Warwoman Rd.

At the end of Warwoman, take 28 North towards Highlands, NC and pick a route from there

Do the Linzi Loop. If you're interested, I'll send you the specifics. Maybe not long enough for what you're looking for, as it's only 300 miles (about 400 if you start and return to Atlanta like I usually do), but they are all great roads (some of which RAW has mentioned), and you can certainly incorporate them into your eventual route.

Check out Blue Moon Cycles,770.447.6945, north of Atlanta to rent a BMW. Depending on when you show up you may be able to catch a race weekend at Road Atlanta, Roebling Road in Savannah, Kershaw in South Carolina, or if you are really into long rides go down to Daytona for some Bike Week activities, 7 hours away. If you only have a few hours I could take out on a spare KLR650 for a little dirt riding right in the city.

There is also some great dual sport riding a bikes to rent at Durhamtown Plantation an hour and a half out of town. Miles and miles of trails.

Feel free to PM for more details.

Chris
