Possible to Transfer Preloaded Maps?

Hi,

If I buy a one-time map update for one device, is it possible to transfer that map to another? And if so, how?

Here's my story. I bought my wife a 2720 which came with a City Navigator CD. She rarely uses it, so I loaded City Navigator on my 60Cx. Now Garmin is offering a map upgrade on the 2720 and wants me to connect it to my computer to get the update. (I'm not seeing an option to get the upgrade as a CD.) Obviously I'd like to be able to transfer the latest version of City Navigator between devices on those rare occasions where she is taking a road trip with the 2720. Suggestions?
