Same here Klay. What's wrong with matching DRs?

I draw the line at matching outfits though. Thankfully Jodie has style and I have none so no worries of us ever matching.

We've gone beyond that...we have matching DR200s and matching DR650s. Plus we have matching hi-vis Darien jackets. Oh, well.

Yeah, when I wear my moto boots it could be as much as 30 inches.. ;)

I had street shoes on when I sat on the WR250R and I was rocking back and forth, tiptoe to tiptoe....

My KTM200EXC is pretty tall but settles right down when I sit on it, enough so I can kickstart it just about anywhere.

I did a bit of searching and found that theres' an adjustment to lower the rear about an inch, if you need more, you can go with a yamalink.

And of course, seat shaving....

WOW! I take all that back... ;)

Real problem is there seems to be no DR200s available.

Since we bought ours, nothing on Sacramento or SF Bay Area craigslist.

Kind of have a $2k limit, about what we'd get for her CRF230.

Pat

$2k would get you a really nice DR200 hereabouts.

There's a whole thread on here somewhere on lowering the WR250R.

Ladybug, I seem to remember that you had your stator redone for more output. How is that working out?

$4500 Out the Door at the dealer. We paid $1700 for our current one, it's a 2002 but in perfect condition.

Back in my home state of Vermont, used bikes are much cheaper than here, of course they have a 100 day season and we have a 350 day season.

The 15 days you can't ride here are usually powder days, so all is forgiven.

What are you driving with it that you needed more output?

Regards,

She's using it as a full-on DR200GS adventure touring bike replete with numerous electric accessories and electronic gadgets.

Nice!

I always call ours a "200GS" to tweak my GS & GSA owning neighbor, but that really looks like a Gelaende Sport/Strasse!

That thing sure has a load on it. Does your bike have aftermarket suspension?
