North Idaho Route (Have anyone done this?)

Planning a ride this summer to Idaho and was playing aroung with MapSource and came up with the following route from North West Idaho to Lowell via Lolo trail. I know the Lolo trail is well know but not sure about the route North of I90 from Wallace to Upper Priest Lake.

The total route is about 431 miles and I figure it would take two days to do. Stopping at Wallace to camp the first night and the second night at Lowell. Is this dualable?

Enclosed is a gps route (Has not been riden!!)

If anyone has route they like to share please do so.

Thanks

Might have better luck putting this in the WEST section...

Sounds like an interesting trip. Been thinking about doing a trip like this. When are you going?

In Mex2Can.com we stay in Kamiah, Powell (Lolo Pass), Wallace and Bonners Ferry. We are on Dual Sport bikes and use more back roads so if you are on big bikes on main roads it should be a piece of cake.

We just did this route last weekend. Started in Wenatchee on Friday after work, to Colville. Then started Saturday AM on dirt near Ione, WA. Ended the day in Sandpoint. Could have made it a lot further, but we were trying to find a route to Sandpoint via Schweitzer MT., and did a lot of turning around following my GPS. That took about 4 hours, but was well worth it.
From Sandpoint, we rode south to Wallace, then over to Superior,MT for the evening. From Superior, we rode towards Lolo, then turned off before the airstrip, and went west to Pierce, ID. Gassed up and had a beer, then crossed Dworshak (Sp) reservoir at Grandad Bridge, and ended the day in Elk River, ID.

I started with these tracks, and they are very good tracks. And Big bike capable with some ATV trails thrown in. We had a 1200 GSA, KTM 950, and a Versys.

Thanks for posting them. We were headed to Hells Canyon until 2 days ahead of time. Got nervous about the heat and decided on a more northern route.
