Blacksnake warning, SR20, 530

Well, I got back on the bike July 9th, after breaking the bones in my lower left leg March 11th (cold rain became snow on the way to work, and I'm too stubborn/stupid to quit). I see a lot more "blacksnake" on the road than in the recent past.

I ride SR530 from Darrington to Rockport, then SR20 from there (mile 98) to the Diablo "Y" (mile 126). I recently saw the DOT crew out with their tar truck, adding even more to the road near MP 126. They've really been getting crazy with their tar pots, on both 530 and 20.

I know this won't matter to pleasure riders who just scenic rides over the pass on nice weekends. But for we crazy adventure riders who eat up the rain, that much cold, wet tar will make the road more... interesting...
