Hard to find too much fault if the bike only needs a battery BUT there were recalls for cracked rims (cracks between the spokes) and cracked exhaust crossover pipe. If it's got a ton of mileage and won't run then you have to wonder a bit about how it's going to run when you do get it running although 100K on a WELL MAINTAINED Guzzi engine isn't unusual.

You could probably part it out and make a few bucks too....
