I'm on a tour of Scandinavia and the Baltic States here. It's off to a slow start Ride Report-wise but should warm up next week when I get to Norway to ride the Trollstigen and Geiranger. Feel free to say "hi" in the RR; some of the European RRs drop off the radar pretty quickly in comparison to some of the others.

My wife's 800 has been awesome, despite some crashes and other mishaps. We have been on the road since 20 April, and we now call her F800GS "Frankenbike"...she is a real trooper and I could not have had a better trip partner!

Laugh Taking the Road South

The Plan: Ride our BMW motorbikes to South America from British Columbia, Canada.

How: First we (Naomi and I) will ride the Continental Divide Trail through the United States of America with my father-in-law, Graham. We will continue to ride through Mexico, Central America and South America with the goal of reaching the tip of South America before the weather gets to unfriendly. After that we will return to Peru to explore and relax.

Alberto.

Thanks John I'm in the process of buttoning it up tonight.

I'm impressed with the general popularity of the F800GS, I think it has really caught on as a true adventure bike! I still love all the stares I get on the roads when I'm commuting on my dirty scratched up monster
