800 rack

I have the racks, great work by Berg.

He made some soft racks for my 950 and went to him for the 800. Racks are SOLID yet simple, easy to install and mount bags to.

I will try and get some pics up when I get back to CA

David,
I've got the Wolfman racks and expedition dry bags on my DRZ400 and the setup works great. It wasn't cheap, but to me it was worth every penny. I also got the universal velcro straps from Wolfman so I can use the bags with my Holan racks on the 800GS. I would recommend going with a set of racks that will give you the option of mounting a set of panniers in the future and use the velcro straps to attach the Wolfman bags. That's just my two cents and as always, YMMV.

I use the Wolfman Expedition bags and rack on my F800GS. The rack was easy to attach, fits well, and is sturdy. The rack sticks out far enough that there is no concern about heat from the muffler damaging the bag. The bags attach easily to the rack and are waterproof. I have traveled a couple thousand miles with this bag and rack setup over very rough roads with no problems. Sorry, no pics that show the details of the back and rack attached to my bike.

Does anyone have experience dropping their F8 on these bags. How do the bags and the mounts hold up (ie ripping and bending)?
