Okay- Uninta mountains yeasterday, so......
Back down south, more Moab region tonight [/IMG]A very swolen Colorado River last May [IMG] [/IMG]Scooting along SR 128 north along the Colorado [IMG] [/IMG]A pic to show how all this Moab rock coolenss happens- Water seeps through the upper layers (over 10's of years) until it hits a harder layer and works its way horizontally, eroding and undercutting (for those into "survival stuff"- the water is very clean to drink [IMG] [/IMG]More SR 128 [IMG] [/IMG]128 from one of the rafting tour pull outs [IMG] [/IMG]Turning off 128 toward the La Sal Mtns into Castle Valley [IMG] [/IMG]the "castles" above the valley [IMG] [/IMG]Just southeast of Castle Valley [IMG] [/IMG]The La Sal Mountains, southeast of Moab. Lots of snow still in May Thanks again all for viewing and the comments
