Quick Memorable Ride

After work yesterday, I jumped on the dual sport and wanted to take a ride that wouldn’t be that far or long, but would mean a lot to me. It’s the site of the 1970 Marshall University Plane Crash. Being a Marshall Alumni, I’m very familiar with the story and all the history in the town, but I had never made it to the site.

I enjoyed the crisp fall evening and some pretty scenery, and then found the marker and roadside memorial.

This ended up being a nice ride that meant a lot to me.
