Wink Gas tank Hole

I have always tried to keep dirt, etc. out of my gas tanks. When you drilled the gas tank, I assume that you drilled into the tank. Therefore, how did you prevent the contents of the hole from getting into your gas tank?

I assume that a small shaving could get stuck in your fuel line?

It's a cleaver, inexpensive solution, but....

Ride safe, and have fun!
