Dragon , mermaid and floods.
I recently got a few days off and i planned to take a ride up north to Thailand to see a mermaid about a dragon
Unfortunately for me and even more unfortunately for the locals involved
the whole of northern Malaysia and southern Thailand was hit by one of the worst storms in the last 10 years.Floods, deaths, loss of property, road closures, evacuations and military mobilisation to help the stranded was played out in these areas.
All of these happened 2 days before my trip.
I had no choice but to postpone as my bike can't swim .
After keeping a close eye on the highway authorities website and Thai info and updates from Thaivisa.com i couldn't postpone my trip
anymore as the days were running short.
The full write up is in my blog and i'll post some teaser pics here.
