I got your order and I made the mistake of not letting your know that I was waiting on the next run of Trail Stands to get back from the platers. I thought I had covered everyone's order with and email explaining the situation but I guess I missed yours. I apologize, the next set of Trails Stands is due on Wednesday the 2nd and I will ship all orders no later than the 3rd. If you would prefer a refund I understand and will do that right away if requested. Since I missed your email I am willing to refund your shipping and still ship priority 2-3 day as soon as I get the next batch.
Again sorry for the delay, there was a bit of a run of orders and this is the first time that I had to put the Trail Stand on backorder. But let me assure you that were where on the list, I just missed sending you and email to let you know there would be a delay which was my mistake.

Sincerely,
Steve

Thanks for the post John, I always try to treat folks like I expect to be treated.
Hope you only need the Trail Stand for lubing your chain and all the flats are somebody else's......and the Trail Stand will let you do the important job of "supervising" "Well There's your problem..."

Just ordered, thanks for allowing me to not put a center stand on this Strom, all I need is LESS ground clearance.

Thanks for the order,It's on the way!
I know several guys that use the Trail Stand on a strom, as on any bike you need to find a secure spot to lift the rear wheel that won't allow the stand to slip and always use the strap-lock for the front brake when lifting the rear wheel.
Thanks again,
Steve

Received it today, much smaller than I had pictured. Very nice piece of gear.

Works great on the Strom, using a spool on the rear, and the skidplate on the front. Much more stable than I had imagined as well.

Thanks.

Glad to hear the feedback Flashmo!
If you get a chance some pics of it holding up the strom would be great!
Here's a pic to give an idea of how compact the Trail Stand is and still can lift the tallest bikes....and it only weigh's about 10 ounces!
Plus it breaks down for packing or you can leave it assembled with nothing loose, it's up to how you want to pack it....

Thanks for the order Paul!

All the info looks good, I sent you and email to let you know that since sales were so good right before Christmas I am waiting just a few days for the next order of stand to get back from the platers. They should be here middle to end of next week and I will get it right out to you the same day I get them! If that is a problem just repond to the email and let me know.
Thanks again!
(If anyone else would like to get on the list now is a good time, just visit www.endurostar.com and put in an order)

Thanks again mac!

The compact size and light weight combined with the ease of use were all major goals in the design. Steel is really the best material for this job because it's strength to weight ratio is much higher than other materials like aluminum. In other words you use less material and get a much higher strength and the entire Trail Stand only weighs 10 oz.

I have seen some other aluminum types but they don't seem to publish what they weigh, even though they are larger diameter and not able to work on taller bikes. Some home made aluminum versions have 2-3 times as many parts and weigh twice as much as the Trail Stand. So don't be fooled that just because it's aluminum it is lighter, "the devil is in the details" as they say.

The hitch pin has a calculated 400 lb shear strength for instance. I don't rate the stand that high because it doesn't need to be for it's intended use and besides "the hulk" whose going to pick up 400 lbs.....not me...
