Nice report! My favorite vid was the cement creek intro. That terrain is so diverse in such a small area.
Anytime you have to use a rope to finish the trail you know it is going to be a good day!

Great report, guys!
Can you please tell me how to get to where the "Chasing Kuru" video was shot, and the Rockstar trail is? I am fairly new to riding dirt bikes, I've been to that area but never found the singletrack. You can PM me if you want. I've been "working" the Rolls OHV area across the street to build skills. I have a lot of experience mountain biking, but some things just do not translate well! So, I've been having fun building new skills now. You guys ride WAY faster than I do, most people do, that's why I wouldn't make anyone ride with me! :-) Thanks so much. - Jo

![]() Chasing Kuru is in the highlighted area. Finding the single track trails can be difficult at times, but once you're on them, they're pretty easy to follow.

That is cool to see where you guys rode. Back in the 70's I lived in Phx and we had a trials at Sycamore creek and once at Four Peaks. I couldn't believe how beautiful it was so close to the ugly city. I thought that that by now, they would have either built out there or banned bikes.
I need to get down there! Thanks again for posting! |

Terry,
I need to buy a new camera and was wondering which cybershot model you have? I was looking at a couple of them at Costco one has a sony lens and the other a zeiss I think. Also they use the duo pro sd cards. Those don't seem to be nearly as available as the regular sd cards. For example the same Costco that had the cameras didn't have the cards. Any issues for you?

I have the Sony HX5. I think Canon's take better pictures, but the panoram and video on the Sony is outstanding.

Thanks, Nightstalker, for the map. That helps. Next time we are out there, I will definitely check it out! I may have to work things a bit to learn to ride the more difficult parts, but that's the fun, learning new skills.
Thanks again, and happy new year! - Jo

The tiny click to us is seriously amplified by the hard mounting to the camera, the same as the disproportionately loud racket when hendling the camera to turn turn it off.

Hey NS! Please take down the public links to your maps. Not all the trails out there are known to the public or legal for that matter. Your only hurting the trails with posting the maps for every quad and razor/rhino to find. Let's keep them narrow for bikes and not give any directions for the quads/razors/rhinos to find.
