A friend in town recently put a Sargent on his DR650. Compared to the Corbin, the Sargent is softer. The build quality of the two are comparable though the seat pan for the Corbin is stiffer and much heavier. He loves the Sargent seat for his DR.

i forgot about my thread.
i did my own comparo and changed over to a regular height sargent from a corbin i first bought. sargent did not have a dr seat when i bought the corbin. the sargent is a better seat imo. the corbin is 1" shorter than the sargent which for some it's ok but i'm no giant w/ 29" inseam. the big deal breaker on the corbin was when standing the shape cause your legs to bow out too much. on top of that the inside of my legs where they meet the seat would get pressure spots from the shape of the seat. i basicly could not stand up with the corbin. all that was gone w/ the sargent and i find the firmness more comfortable.
