I had heard that the Tennessee portion was too much paved and boring, but I found it to be alot of fun. Be careful with the water crossings. The route chart will warn you about them being very slick and numerous, but the warning comes after the first crossing(slick as ice) where I went down and almost broke my leg. These are the solid rock crossings, not the gravel. Just check them out before powering through. You will have a great time!

Well I will admit that I may be a candy ass, but I to thought the TN section was boring. I don't recall hitting any dirt other than a gravel section until you cross over into MS.

With that being said, you'll never know if you'll like it or not until you try it out for yourself.
