Another nice RR Doug...and you finished it too! Nice 42 also. Reading your last couple RTW RR's and now this one has given me an appreciation of old/older Harleys.
Man, a guy I know is in the process right now of writing an overnight trip report up form Key West to the campground at Everglades National Park and back. Some of the same scenery although his report isn't quite as good. He didn't harass any alligators. ![]() I clicked on day trips to read the rest of his report and saw yours. He even took a pic of the old bridge from the same spot! That's two Keys RR's if read in a day! What are the odds? I was telling him the first time I went to Florida it was raining cats and dogs! I visited Flamingo in 1990 with my uncle. He was shooting video of fly fishing for bonefish if I remember right. About all I remember were mosquitoes so thick that you had to run from the car to the room with them swarming around you. Each morning we would stand in the room and spray off with deet until the linoleum floor started to dissolve. Not the most fun I've ever had. One good thing though, once you got offshore in the boat, the mosquitoes went bye-bye.
