Sitting at my desk right now playing with mine.... reflective tape I believe - but glued to heck. Having a tough time getting a corner up.
Anyone on here try to take their decal off? Anthony

Thought about going for white instead, but hi-viz is SO visible! Guess I'll wait impatiently. |

Hey Suth,
The XL's came in but the rest of the size curve hit a last minute snag. (big bummer since we "announced" them recently as about to ship) Sorry for the confusion, this thread will be the first to now when the full stock comes in. Best, Anthony

Hey Boon,
Sorry about the snag. We are as impatient as you - trust me. I will take response for counting our chickens a bit early. We are biting our nails off waiting for them to show up. Best, Anthony

Hey Anthony, is the SRC system able to be charged while in use? If I ran the batteries low on a long trip could I wire up a powerlet mini-USB cable to plug it in while riding?

Unsnagle is my new word. I will use it in a sentence today.
Nothing notable yet. I am listening and waiting intently.

Ohhh - that is a great question which off the top of my head I do not know.
Let me see if I can find your pot of gold. (sorry, bad jokes, 2:30 kicked in hard today, to combat it I am all 5-hour energy'd out. at the moment.) A

Ok so this question was just posted to the LDrider list and here was a long time C3/SRC owners response straight from the horses mouth:
"A bit of bad news on the C3 bluetooth configuration. *It is impossible to charge the radio collar in the helmet while it is in use. *Plugging into the USB port suspends its operation. *I researched this at great length, and spoke with engineers at Schuberth and Scala (which makes the Schuberth built-in radio unit), and the guys at Bob's BMW also made a bunch of calls to confirm my findings - there is no way to charge and ride simultaneously. There is also no way to exchange the collar battery in rally-mode (requires a bit of helmet surgery)." This is a disappointment to me. :-( |

Revzilla's website says early-mid April availability for the hi-viz, but Chris at Revzilla just told me they expect to ship at the end of April.
...and the very nice-sounding girl at Schuberth-USA says they expect to have the hi-viz in hand the 1st April and ship to retailers soon thereafter. GHanson screwed with this post 03-18-2011 at 12:37 PM |
