Beautiful and amazingly inspirational. (video)

Wow. I hope it's ok to post this in the "day trippin" category. Didn't know where else it could go but think it's relevant to day trippin ; )
I don't know if it's what has recently happened in Japan, or if it's cause I miss my grandfather, or if it's just a well made "commercial" but this thing had me streaming tears like a child..
I'll let the video speak for itself. Enjoy ;)

Oh I did like that!! I know it's a commercial ("based on" etc), but it was just FUN!

I wonder what the real story it was based on.

I really liked it...

the first time I saw it. I recently saw it again and sent the link to my wife who is also a rider. She said it brought tears to her eyes.

An immigrant from Taiwan who grew up in the States, I am personally amazed that this story was about a group of dedicated Taiwanese riders in their 80's who set out to circumnavigate the island. But it expressed so beautifully the universal reason why we ride...

"Why do we live? What for?" Such nagging Existential Questions that our normal lives and responsibilities just can't touch...

Yet, the answer is ironically not Why or What but How we all live more fully in the limited time we all have through riding!

Ok, thank you... I finish now.

while i've seen this before
i'm honored to see it again
thanks for the thread
the TC BANK logo at the end should be trimmed off FOR OUR BENEFIT
but, quite inspirational
of course, in the US... we don't hold banks in such high esteem...
for reasons we all know
so.... i wish someone OTHER than a bank had funded this project
well done
