Just in case this is still on your radar. Have you ever continued past the reservior and into Cedar City. Just wondering what the roads are like that way.

Nice pics, I have only ever done it south to north.

Yankee Dog it turns to a good dirt road at the reservoir, unless it has been raining it is a good scenic road.

Depends on the season. Certainly doable on a dualsport after the snow is gone.

It's largely dirt from the reservior to Cedar City (unless you take one of the obscure cut-offs to Cedar, then it's all dirt). The road gets graded every year to accommodate ranchers. Even so, the first 2-3 miles from the reservoir going north can be washboard hell. Then it's all manageable.

I'd post up some pics, but it's Justin's RR and I don't want to hijack.

too late I already hijacked it when I asked ab out the roads the far side of the reservoir. but after all the report was six months old so you could look on it as a resuscitation not a hijack.

Here is what it looked like last June, up on the dirt section above the lake headed towards Cedar City.... some parts were a muddy, sloppy mess.
