Use Light Flasher Switch as Light Off Switch Anyone?

Hi, I'd like to use the head light flasher switch on the left as a head light off switch when pulled in so I can start her without the HID ballast starting at the same time. thing is, that switch has the reversed function as in 'on' when pulled. I'd need it to be 'off' when pulled. Has anyone done this or can help otherwise? Thanks.

You could connect a normally closed (NC) relay to it. Then use that relay to activate/deactivate the headlight relay.

I used a time delay relay to control my HID. The delay is adjustable so I have plenty of time to get the engine started before the ballast fires. Two of my bikes don't have the ability to turn off the headlight so I installed a time-delay relay on both of them. Works great
