ooops, you probably want pics from me.

Hell, this thread is goin good without me fuckin it all up....

Im in Slovenia now, free wifi at McD's. I was headed to Serbia but this morning I learned of a biker party this weekend on the coast of Croatia.
I have never been to a Croatian biker party.
I will remedy that!

Then I'll ride across Bosnia, as I havent been thru the middle of there yet.

And THEN to Serbia.

Carry on.....

Doug
OK, now we are rolling. Keep em coming Doug, keep em coming....

By the way, have my 22 year daughter, 20 year old son, and 18 year old son logging in daily as well. They always use your best shots as screen savers (especially the field of flowers, and your stuff from Iraq).

Go Doug, go.

That said, I'm TOTALLY subscribed! Go 1200cc American V-twin! Ride safe!

Absolutely!

Harleys have been known to conquer all sorts of challenging terrain to arrive safely, and loudly, at Starbucks and faux biker bars the world over. Why, there are even interesting threads on ADV outlining Hog riders' exploits in Central and South America, as well as Deadhorse…on a Road King no less.

And I have personally seen numerous Harleys complete the Dakkar RalleyBurger Challenge (*). Yes, I watched as a fat Boy, two Super Glides and Road King with ape hangers roll into the Dakkar RallyBurger in Des Moines, Iowa a few years back.

* Not to be confused with the Dakar Rally.

I really like the duel headlights.......Very Triumph-like. As well as the liberal use of chicken wire. Very redneck-like. hehehe

No oil spots there (and just in case - they all belong to my bikes )

He met me some 50 km before Graz and followed me on smaller roads to a coffee at my home where we waited for Hannes to pick him up. Never rode with somebody that slow - he just sucked in the sun and the landscape, all eyes and ears, and obviously enjoyed the route, took some photos etc.

After some talk about life in general and hungarian/other old sidecars (which he knows a lot of) he left for an overnight stay at Hannes' place.

I hoped for him it was warmer today, but my gauge says 3° C. Sorry Doug, and safe travels!

Andy

I am betting he did. I did the same to mine and ain't going back. Far more confortable, easier on the eye and wrench and you can throw it around far better than with the stock mids or forwards.

From the looks of it, I'd say you'll do fine. Have you sourced some spare parts in that part of the world?

Spare parts? Ha! Doug could construct a mnemonic memory circuit using stone knives and bearskin rugs.

Chicken Wire?

Chicken wire? Hell that ain't chicken wire ----- that is "poultry netting".

Don't you know the difference? Same stuff, except "poultry netting" costs three times as much!
