Dirt Near Home (Loganholme Qld Australia)

I need to get better at riding off road so I went for a ride recommended by another inmate only 20mins from home then I found the dirt.

No good for scooter riding so the ladies waited for my return.

The first part of the track looked nice and easy which I was happy about.

A little further along and I crossed some deep loose sand that had me hanging on a bit tighter.

I don't mind sections like this as it's just a matter of taking it slow and easy.

It's disapointing to find people have been using this area as a dumping ground, lots of rubbish on both sides of the track.

Old car tires

I even found an old boat!

The track went on but I had to get back to the girls waiting for me back at the main road,
anyway I wanted to look at some other tracks just up the road from here.

5mins ride along the main road and then this was the place I was looking at on Google maps and it looked good,
no gates, no keep out signs and some other riders already here

They told me about some wet sections and deep sand sections,
not to much of a problem because I was going to ride it slow and not far because the girls waited for me again.

This must be the wet section they mentioned to me!
other riders still around here at the moment so I made sure I did not fall in the mud.

The bike slipped around a bit but I'm happy to say I stayed on and got back to the girls for our ride home.

That be right, just when I find a handy place to practice not far from home they will turn it into tar and cement.
