probably.... but I was the only one that made it up first try and I was the only 650 rider.



AND - there was another rider out there on a 250 that didnt make it after three tries.....he will remain nameless....

something tells me the 340+lbs KLX wont be a good choice for sundays big boy loops plus the rider is way out of shape..baby steps.....baby steps

I havent even looked at the schedule to see whats going on for the weekend.... but yes. The plan would be to go get tires on saturday morning then make my way out there to sign up and find a place to camp.

Hey Jeff, do you MTB? I also live in Anaheim and am looking for someone to train with. I normaly ride on Tuesday eve after work. If your up for it send me a PM. John

no mtb ..but do/did BMX cruiser class. thinking about getting back into that again..I got a 24"er sitting in the garage i never ride anymore.

Ive been looking into some MTB racing and all the good stuff is down there!! Such a bummer....

Don't worry, they don't use Snowy. The only trail they use in the forest is Tejon Trail, from Gold Hill Road over to the north end of the park, or vice versa, which ever way they are running it this year. The rest of the event is run entirely in the SVRA.

I've never camped at the track, but it was tight when they were camping in the park, when I've gone to the GP at the track, it's a tight squeeze. Getting there saturday will help

I know there are lots of places to camp out there but it sure would be nice to not have to commute....

It's like an Enduro, you finish your first loop and you have a break, maybe 20 or 30 minutes, so you can get gas, eat a sandwich, whatever. You just have to make sure you start your second loop on time.

The forecast is saying low temps and 30% chance of rain. That would be a welcome change from the usual inferno.

Don't sweat the numbers, it's an enduro, you will run your row # and A, B, C or D as required. For example, I am on row 20, so I am #20A.

You can put your green bar on for the next desert race.

They sell numbers at sign up for $2, in the past I have just stuck them on the back of the rider instructions and duct tape them on the number plate.
