Don't worry, they don't use Snowy. The only trail they use in the forest is Tejon Trail, from Gold Hill Road over to the north end of the park, or vice versa, which ever way they are running it this year. The rest of the event is run entirely in the SVRA.

I've never camped at the track, but it was tight when they were camping in the park, when I've gone to the GP at the track, it's a tight squeeze. Getting there saturday will help

It's like an Enduro, you finish your first loop and you have a break, maybe 20 or 30 minutes, so you can get gas, eat a sandwich, whatever. You just have to make sure you start your second loop on time.

The forecast is saying low temps and 30% chance of rain. That would be a welcome change from the usual inferno.
Don't sweat the numbers, it's an enduro, you will run your row # and A, B, C or D as required. For example, I am on row 20, so I am #20A. You can put your green bar on for the next desert race. They sell numbers at sign up for $2, in the past I have just stuck them on the back of the rider instructions and duct tape them on the number plate.
