The Donut Squad (east TN)

So I take my 18yr old son on a ride in East TN, his drz400 is plated but still needs a couple things like DOT tires, brake lite, speedo. Oh and he also does not have his class M license. I tell him don't worry we will be 95% off road today and we only hit this little stretch of pavement (about 5 miles) and I never see any cops on that road. Sooooooooooooooo.......

Good news is no one got pulled over. Must have been happey hr at the donut shop.

You must have been near the "Dragon" or the "Snake". I guess the official meet and greet Socials are now in full swing.

BTW, based on your forecasting abilities (never seeing cops....) would you please make an official proclamation that next weekend WV and VA will have severe weather. It would be a big help as I will be camping/riding and blue skies would be welcomed over the current predictions

Cool you were able to enjoy a father/son ride.

Cheers

I was over in that area last fall. Met two blacked out dual sports -tank,plastic, riders were all in black. I thought that looks neat. then I met two Suv's all blacked out with radio whips all over them, extended running boards and outside chicken bars. Thought "humm" a bit strange. Behind them about 1/4 mile met 3 more dual sports same as the first bunch. Found out later ther was a mega drug/chop shop bust later that day up there.

Had the same thing last fall out here in Oregon. After seeing 6 or 7 LEOs, I figured how many more could there be? Got back up to normal speed - well, there was a sheriff's conference in the town ahead and I got the 79 mph in a 55 ticket. Dang it!
