Haha! nice job!
love to see that thing come to life! if you have any questions on where things go i would be happy to help! by the way, would you by any chance not be needing those tires? i could really use them for the ice i could probably pay $5-$10 for shipping Quote:

well i dont post on here much so im sure no one here knows who i am
![]() but i've had alot on my plate for the past several months and only recently got back around to this little toy so here's an update on the work done now. \stripped it down again. this time everything but the engine and suspension and now that the frame is done being modified that will be done soon. ![]() in this picture i had just finished chopping down the kick stand 2 inches. yes the drop in the forks really did make that a have to mod instead of a want to you may be able to tell in that picture but i chopped the subframe up. i rewelded the curve in because it matches the tail i made ![]() ![]() redneck pipe bender to get the curve right ![]() ![]() home made fiverglass tail tested to see how well it matched the new chopped subframe. about 5 inches cut out by the way. ![]() chopped up the tank. soon to weld back in some plate to fill the cut. reversing the cuts wont work on the little cb125 tank. its too small. ![]() homemade oil tank for the 2 smoke oil ![]() KafE logo.. get it KE100 KafE ok ok thats a lame pun but oh well ![]() wieing harness got cut down. before ![]() after ![]() the mess that got cut out ![]() that's it for now. i've only been working on it again for about 2 weeks. dont you hate it when life gets in the way of having fun ![]() ![]() |

Looking good! But I don't know why you didn't clean up the engine / bottom of the frame, it would look much cleaner with it repainted. Might as well do it while it's in pieces eh?

im repainting the engine polishing the side covers for contrast against the black engine and the skid plate is being removed for a cleaner look on the frame. the frame is going to be painted metal flake green. i only painted the welds so they wouldn't rust. after i mock up everything its time to pull it apart 100% and get to painting and polishing. and not a nut or bolt is going to be left alone. every single piece will either be polished or painted TXspeedDemon screwed with this post 05-12-2011 at 05:25 AM |

KE100!?! The bike that I recommend people learn how to wrench on! They made them by the millions! It's no great loss ruining one IF that is what happens. It's a shame so many people are instead learning on rare and expensive stuff.

I taught my stupid sister to ride on a KE100. She did incredibly well, never thought that would happen! Weirdly enough, she was riding like she had been riding for a year at the end of a half day! Also weird is she never rode another motorcycle again to this day and that was in 1975.

ok i think this deserves a little explanation.
this isn't my only bike i also have a 1978 cb400t 2007 hysoung gv650 and i've owned a gpz750 turbo and a cbr600 f4i what it is is my very first bike. i got that bike for my 13th birthday. i rode it untill i was 15 and got the honda. well i looked at it one day and decided i wanted to ride it again. but i wanted it to be cooler than it was. so i got to cutting chopping and modding. the reason why my build looks kinda rookie is i work at random i have no issues taking too long to do a project or doing it in a weird order because ALL i care about is the final product.however i would recommend a ke100 to anyone thats learning to ride OR build. great little bikes they ride at 50 all day and are just fun. the only issue with them is the battery. that little 6v system gets annoying and the battery is unreliable. you can fix that issue with a capacitor but if you hit the brakes, turn signals, and high beams at the same time then the blinkers stop blinking i got around this by just choppin the turn signals off and calling it a day.
