Husaberg Rallye Racing Australia has entered 2 top Australian rallye racers

David is an experienced Dakar competitor with his 2005 Dakar 3rd place in the 450 class & 37th outright when he teamed with Andy Caldecott on the KTM Motorex Australian semi-factory Dakar team on his factory KTM 450RR bike and as a privateer in 2009 Dakar 36th outright finish on a KTM 690RR.

In the Australian Safari David has an almost unmatched record of 8 top 10 finishes from 8 starts, multiple class wins including 4 x 450cc class wins and a 250cc class win as well as 3rd outright in 2004.

Rod will be riding his first Dakar after winning the Condo 750 rally in 2010 & 2011 and taking 2nd outright 2008 Australasian Safari.




Both riders will be riding 2012 Husaberg FE450 rallye bikes built by the team and supported by the team mechanics which have extensive experience in both Dakar and Safari over the last 4 years.

This tank setup is a bolt on 3 tank set kit. Its not possible to use them seperatly. Its not "In-tank" fuelpump. We will use the standard fuel regulator and a outside fuelpump. This way it possible to choose from wich tank unit you would like to run and a possibility to have extra fuelfilter before the pump.

The design is very similar to KTM 450RR. We use a low exhaust pipe.
The 2 front tanks contains 8-8,5 liters each and rear tank 12-13.5 liter.
Our goal is to have 30 liters in total.
The fronttanks are designed to have bigger radiators with electric fans on each side.

We use a carbon skid plate(KTM replica) and the mountings combines tank and skidplate attachment points.
The nav tower is designed to have a KTM oil cooler. The oil system uses the same tech specifcation as the Twinair oil coler unit.
The fairing is now under production and uses the standard light/lamp.

It will be possible to by the parts seperatly.

In a couple of weeks it will be a new website where you can se the first prototype. In the swedish 4 days rally i will have a pressconferance and media testdrive.

I will race this bike in Dakar 2012 with Öhlins suspension and KTM 450 RR frontwheel/brakes, 660 Rally rear wheel, Hinson clutch, FX modified gearbox, KTM 450RR forkclamps/PHDS/Öhlins, 570-camshaft and tuned head.

If you are interrested i will try to to deliver rallykit to them who race Dakar 2012. After that we start the production to other riders.
The price will be similar to JVC rallykit.
Tanks seperatly, price the same as Safari + fuelpump

These two professionally prepared Husaberg FE 450 Rallye bikes are for sale; SEK 119,900:- each. (approx 13,500 Euro).





These two bikes were prepared by KEVA MOTOR AB in Hässleholm, Sweden and were ridden at the 2011 TUAREG Rallye in Marocco (march 27th - april 4th).

Both bikes have been given a full service and inspection at the KEVA workshop since returning after the TUAREG (2500 km) and have a total of 3250 km's on them since new.

The two bikes are identical in every respect and have been built with the co-operation of Husaberg Rallye Racing Australia using only the best components and aftermarket rally accessories available; both FE 450's feature 70 Degree racing rear subframe fuel cell and the Safari/Aqualine rear fuel tanks, as well as the original Husaberg front tank for a total of 23 liter fuel capacity. These bikes would ideally suit any amatuer or expert rider looking to participate in a desert rally, with a maximum refuel of 200 km's... and can easily be equipped with an additional 10 liters capacity (making 33 total) by fitting a Safari/Aqualine front auxilliary tank 8readily available from Safari/Aqualine)... In fact we have one (brand new) for sale... if the purchaser is interested.

In addition the KEVA Motor Rallye Husabergs are equipped with FORCE Accessories 3 literwatertank/toolbox alloy sumpguards and radiator protectors.

The navigation equipment is mounted via a KTM hardparts triple clamp mounted frame and GPS mount (GPS not included), with an MD Roadbook maproller, ICO tripmeter (plus original) with MecaSystem combo remote LHS thumb control unit and Zeta handguards/barkbusters.

The two 450 FE's are fitted with Husaberg/GPR steering damper and the suspension front and rear has been re-sprung and valved for the extra fuel capacity and rallye condition.

Numerous other extras (gearing, chains, brake pads/protectors etc.) have been used in the prep of these bikes... no expense spared.
Basically you need to put your own tires/mousse on (the tyres on have approx 500 km's on them) and you would be ready to go.

Both motorcycles available for sale immediately (seperately or as a pair) in "start ready" condition. The bikes are registered in Sweden and available for pick up from Hässleholm, Sweden.
Eventual freight/taxation/stamp/import duty etc. to send them elsewhere for delivery is the responsibility of the purchaser.

You know the great thing about these new FE 70 HusaBERG's...??? front tanks, rear tanks, subframe tanks... with rallye fairing/without rally fairing... marathon rally set-up/sprint rally set up 450/570... they are so many alternatives... you can set them up to suit any event or riding style... very utilitarian.

I remember seeing some lovely looking fairing / tank kits, very similar to the JVO style, but for the Berg.. anyone know if they are in production yet, or even who produced them? I have a feeling raid designs in sweden had something to do with them.. but not entirely sure..

The only ones produced so far are one off's done by Thomas Berglund and Ronnie Bodinger for Dakar 2011. The tanks were alloy. Thomas is working on plastic ones for Dakar 2012 based around the KTM450RR tanks but no sign of them yet, though should be soon.





We will be using the existing Safari Husaberg front tank with a new Safari 15L rear tank along with the 70 Degree subframe tank for a capacity of 34-35L for Dakar 2012. These will be matched to a fairing along the lines of the Jolly Racing CRF Honda rally fairing.

Why are you changing the tower and faring from the setup you used in 2011? weight? Simplicity?

Any pics of the new 15ltr rear tanks available yet?

The production of a new tankkit is slowly progressing. Everything except the tanks are ready!
The fairing is similar to KTM 450RR with 2 vertical lights, not as it was supposed earleyer with standard Husaberg light. The production of the mouldingtools are now progressing in the north of Sweden. Hopefully i have the first set of tanks to test in 4 weeks. The bike will be tested with a 70 degre subframe tankl as a substitue in 2 weeks to sort out the new fuelpump. The 3 first bikes i build will have all attachement(?) welded on the frame. Not like the public version that will have alloy brackets. The frame is painted black (The new yellow is not a favorite coulour)

Pictures will be realised when its fully ready on a new website.........Sorry No build thread.........
