Some folks around here were told by a forest ranger (who rides a KLR) to ride Gorges while you can, because he doesn't forsee it being opened for long. I will definitely try to make one of those weekends while it is open to ride.
That gate is now shut and locked. I went out Sunday to ride that trail and there was a sign stating it was closed as of 8/23/09.

Wow, this is looking really bleak. Now my buddy, JALnSC, is having to bow out due to medical reasons. Oh well, will check in with SCFalconry and decide on whether to cancel or not.

Course, I really like our salesman's front license plate that says:

SCREW IT, LET'S RIDE!

Wes

Hey Wes, all going well here! She said I do.

This weekend though, we've got some plans via street bikes.... just me and her doing a mtn layover somewhere. You know she has only taken her SV out once this year... but it's been a busy one.

I did just replace her sherpa bars since the last outing we did... they got, ummm, a little tweaked.

I am seriously thinking about the yannipalooza Oct 17/18 fyi... you will need knobbies for that I think though . Search that on thumpertalk if interested.

Do some roostin' at BedCreek for us...

Unfortunately, I am pulling the plug on this outing. We'll be back soon though. Wes

It would be a handful, but doable if you got the talent with those big bikes. Pics don't do the grades justice, many steep ups and downs on Bad Creek. I wish you good luck!

Way to bring back a thread, get me all excited about it, and then have me realize the original posts are from 2009!

We all still have the bikes we were taking up there in 2009.
Just need to get a new page up so when you hit next page it will be current.
