I think more inmates than will admit were either inspired to ride more by LWR or felt a twinge of " That would be cool" from it. But it was too much drama, and remember, they didn't ride to Magadan, they were in the back of a truck.....still, it was an adventure, and this is Adventure Riders....just sayin.

I'm not a fan of people who criticize other two wheel riders. We all ride, we all make a go of it and we do it with the means at hand. Ewan and Charlie, (and most importantly, Claudio the cameraman), rode harder than 99.9% of riders out there today. Sure, badasses ffs like Doug do it solo and with more elan, but LWR and LWD were legit trips.

No need to hate other adventure riders, scooter pilots or Goldwing tourers.

And yes, a trip to magadan and the road of bones will elicit Long Way Round for most ADV inmates, (despite what they claim), so don't apologize.

+1 +1 - I started riding at 40 because of LWR and don't think people should take anythign away from them.

That being said, guys like Doug are one in a million and we can all learn a ton from watching his exploits. Ride on Doug - loving the RR (and dickin' around in Doug's garage).

True, they were in the back of a truck but not because they wanted to be. I'm really looking forward to Doug's trip over the ROB since it appears he's going to attempt to do it at the same time of year as LWR and they found it impassable on the bikes.

Doug, it seems that you and Zoran from Cacak visited the place where I live - Studenica.
My twin brother told me that he saw two motorcycles near the monastery Studenica and should be one known from earlier (Zoran's motorcycle).

From now on I going to make a sign on the road with big letters ADV- free beer+free meal = 4 km
