Grab - Pong / New Tag - Ping

GRAB - Pong

"EAST" Ganotown road 7/19- Back Creek in Back Creek Valley....
Lucky was glad to be rescued.

Water in my boots too!!! should have checked the bottom out more...alot of mud/sediment thought i was going to get stuck.. I dont have the tires like some of the inmates.

New TAG - Ping

The tag is ~18 miles (in keeping with the rules ) would have been further but was short on time....will try to move it alot further next time....

It is in the 3rd county of the tag (barely)

Lucky is in a good hiding place near the bottom of this historical marker with two different sides, one of the sides is below,

Hiding place/money shot - now you see Lucky ----

No you dont:

New Tag is double-barreled

Beings this county is a renown Karst region, there are springs everywhere and some find their way here. Not far from here is a town named after a popular game, or it could be the other way around??? This road though dead ends at a powerful structure that is into DC, but not near it.

The money shot:

Lucky Duck is perched on the rock face to the left.

Damn. Looks like a scene right out of Apocalypse Now.

Or Deliverance.

The Lord punished me today for snatching little baby ducks. And for making decent ADVriders park their bikes in the crick.

Tha's me in the creek pushing. I've spent more time in a creek this week than that goofy duck. I wore different boots today. They still take on water if you go in up to yer _ss.

I was visiting with a young [at heart] lady last night that has passionate interests in PETA and animal rights. I tol' her about my escapade with Lucky the Duck, and how I snatched him from a group of bikers that were keeping him under a bush and were probably going to eat him in one of their wild rituals. I may have embellished the amount of danger I put myself in. A little bit. She seemed to think my actions noble and good, and when she heard about the part where one of you was talking about me, my neck, a strap and a tree, she didn't think I should be alone. And far be it from me to stand in the way of someone trying to do the right thing.....

Long story short, yer off the hook on the ransom thing. All I'm asking is that if I show up with a redhead, and she asks about Lucky the Duck, play along and say he's now the Mayor of a Wildlife Area a ways west of there.

Map and PETA

Elroy - Many thanks for the Tag-Map. nice tag... okay now lets see if we have anyone lurking out there to join in the fun of the Eastern Panhandle TOR....

EPWVTOR Tag Map

VAtrader - looks like you still had some fun even if you have two pair of wet boots....where about were you....? BTW will still give you straps... Probably best not to tell lady friend that you know people who belong to the other PETA... People Eating Tasting Animals. ... and better not ever show her the cat-herder II camp-out thread about Martin.

Reb,

I think this should be an easy grab for the locals and I too am hoping some EP inmates will get off their easychairs. With the WVTOR being generally 100miles plus out yonder for several years now, no doubt most have lost interest in tagging by now.

Good thing some cat-herders have been still active in the region and the new game has been great fun so far! Gonna watch that NVATOR more closely.

Still haven't figured out who the guy was that rolled by Presidential on a vintage Jap 4, saw me making the grab and turned around a left. He missed a gear as he left (false neutral, hate those). Do remember that. Wondered if he was a local tryin to get in the game???

That may constitute a part of the EP to some, but it's still 143 miles out for me. You forget that these old dirt bikes lack the kind of saddle you want to be planted in for several hours.

That's why we stand on the pegs so much. Now, if you wanna trade the Strom...
