I've got two photos for the mix. First one isn't anything really notable other than this is the first trip my wife has made since her being diagnosed with Stage 4 Gastric Cancer. Not sure how many trips we have left together (hope a shitload!!). She was nice enough to hop on Amtrak with my buddies wife and meet me and my riding buddy in Portland on our way back from a long planned trip through southern Utah. Spent the night at the McMenamins Kennedy School then hit I-5 for the trip back to Bellingham, WA

Next one is from a few days prior on the same trip, here is the GS on the top on the Moki Dugway.

The goods

Parts going into my GS Scrambler Project. You can read more about the build here. I'm just getting started. Should look something like this when it's all done:

What is it the locals say? "The Tooth decides who it shall let pass." Guess it wasn't ready yet for two-wheeled visitors!

Great photo though...

98 yrs old new rider!

I had the honor and distinct pleasure of taking my granma-in-law for a ride on Mother's day. She walked up to me that fine Sunday and said - young man, you are going to take me for my first Motorcycle Ride, it is Mother's Day- aren't you?
...Yes mam.
I've got more pix but can't upload them... it was SO cool. 98, still drives, no longer at night though and 1 Manhattan a week. Good Vermont stock that woman! What a lady!

I have a similar one. Not a GS, but my 93 year old MIL's first ride on a bike:

Motorcycles have given me so much over the years, I love giving something back. I noticed the smiles on your pictures, very close to the ones you see on mine
