sidecar to Africa Twin
Hi! I want to install some sidecar (maybe Ural, Welorax or Sputnik) to my Africa Twin. So, I need help how to attach it to my bike. Is there some kind of kit to do that or do I have to make that myself? So, please if somebody can give me advices (maybe photos) I would be very thankfull!

The Africa twin is a very rare bike in the USA so we have never built a sidecar kit for one, Looking at photo's to build a sub frame you would have to build it fairly similar to how the V strom is built or the Triupmph Tiger. Basicly you would have to build cradle frame that bolts onto both sides of the bike up near the upper engine mounts and then also near the foot peg mounts. We are building a Triumph tiger sub frame today that once done I can post photo's of what it looks like.
The Sputnik sidecar would be a good match if you up grade the wheel. The Ural will work as well. The Velorex is a bit to light duty if you intend to go off road at all. Of course sidecars we build such as the M72D, M72DX and Enduro would also work well. Jay G DMC Sidecars www.dmcsidecars.com |
