NC Insurance

My new insurance co (Farm Ins) just quoted me $1,800 for the year for my wifey & me's 650cs & 12gs. They were very reasonable on the cars, house & boat but the bikes seem way out of line. The $1,800 is for full coverage.

Any Insurance Co's suggestions from folks in North Carolina?

Thanks,

Thanks,
State Farm (if your home and vehicles are with them). My rates actually went DOWN last year!

That said, I pay ~$694 FULL COVERAGE/year for 2 bikes.

You should get a kiss as well - we pay half that in metro DC/Northern VA for two new RT's. Check out Geico or Allstate.

State Farm is giraffe balls high in NC, blame it on little to no competition for bike insurance. The best I've found is Progressive, though its still at at least camel cock.

I've got three bikes, a F650GS Dakar, a R1200GS, and an R1150 GS Adventure. Good driving record except one speeding ticket 3 years ago costs me $1600/yr. Thinking of dropping the comp., liability is cheap.

Ended up going with Foremost for insurance in NC. There rates are $631 for the 2 bikes/yr with the same coverage as Farm Bureau's quote of $1,800. Pays to shop around.

Thanks.
